Andre House is a non-profit organization sponsored by the Priests and Brothers of Holy Cross from the University of Notre Dame. Located in Downtown Phoenix, Andre House offers basic services such as food, clothing, showers and a transitional shelter for the poor and homeless. Andre House has a local board of directors and all contributions are used locally. The people of Andre House strive to create peace through gathering together people from all walks of life. The Crohn's Colitis Foundation of America is a non-profit, voluntary health organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for those with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Known collectively as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), these chronic digestive disorders affect nearly one million Americans. The local chapter of CCFA provides services such as a resource library, support groups, educational seminars and notification of medical updates.

The Area Agency on Aging serves Maricopa County residents who are 60 years of age and older, adults aged 18-59 with disabilities and long-term care needs, and persons of all ages who are HIV positive. The Area Agency on Aging is part of a network of organizations established under the Older Americans Act (OAA) to respond to the needs of older adults. The Area Agency on Aging helps raise funds for victims of late-life domestic violence. Funds raised are used to provide victims with shelter, clothing and other basic necessities.

The Arthritis Foundation is the only non-profit voluntary health association seeking the cause, prevention and cure for all types of arthritis. Sojourner Center was founded in 1977 by a group of visionaries who believed women needed a safe place to live, free from domestic violence. Since that time, Sojourner Center has grown from a single 24-bed campus, to three campuses housing a total of 244 emergency shelter beds and 15 transitional apartments. Sojourner Center is the largest domestic violence shelter in the nation with the capacity to provide shelter and support services to approximately 2,450 women and children annually.

The mission of the Make-A-Wish Foundation is to fulfill the wishes of children between the ages of 2 ½ and 18 years of age with life threatening illnesses. The Make-A-Wish Foundation has roots in Arizona, having been founded in 1980 to fulfill the dream of a Phoenix boy with Leukemia who wanted to be a policeman. Children who have been determined by a physician to have a life-threatening medical condition are eligible for a wish.
